    • This group is dedicated to providing a platform for late deafened people and their families to communicate about deafness. They also publish a newsletter.
  • Deaf Child Worldwide
    • Deaf Child Worldwide is dedicated to enabling deaf children to overcome poverty and isolation. Works with partner organizations in developing countries to implement projects focused on deaf children. Their site shares best practice case studies and facilitates networking.
  • Deaf Link Uganda: For the Advancement of Deaf People
    • This is the site for Deaf-Link Uganda. This group aims to advance the welfare of Deaf people in Uganda by providing educational, social, economic and cultural opportunities.
  • DeafHear Ireland
    • DeafHear has a national network of resource centres providing a range of accessible services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families and is also actively involved in advocating and lobbying for improved services and new developments including UNHS (Universal Newborn Hearing Screening) and access to emergency services via text message. Their vision is of an inclusive society where Deaf and Hard of Hearing people are fully integrated, with equality of opportunity and participation.
  • Deafness Forum of Australia
    • Deafness Forum is the peak body for deafness in Australia. They now represent all interests and viewpoints of the Deaf and hearing impaired communities of Australia (including those people who have a chronic disorder of the ear and those who are DeafBlind). They advocate for Australians who are deaf by giving input to policy and legislation, generating public awareness, and advocating for government policy change and development.
  • eDeaf: Employ & Empower
    • This organization works to promote the employment of deaf people in South Africa by educating employers about deaf people and by providing basic adult education to deaf employees.
  • Gallaudet University Video Library Catalog
    • The Gallaudet University Video Library has over 200 digitized films and videos online. Videos include series of old films produced by the National Association of the Deaf--the earliest being 1913--a 15-minute narration by Edward Miner Galladuet titled, "The Lorna Doone Country." Other videos include Deaf Mosaic, videos related to Deaf sports, Deaf culture and history. Access to the Gallaudet Video Library is open to the public as well as faculty and students.
  • Global Deaf Connection
    • Global Deaf Connection is an international Deaf education, non-governmental organization that is increasing social, economic and educational opportunities for Deaf people in the world's poorest nations. Works in Tanzania, Kenya, Jamaica, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
  • International Federation of Hard of Hearing People (IFHOH)
    • The IFHOH is a group that promotes communication among organizations for the deaf and works to advocate for the rights of the deaf and hard of hearing.
  • Kenya National Association of the Deaf
    • KNAD advocates and represents the rights of the Deaf community in Kenya, including the status of Kenyan Sign Language, education, health, culture, economic and social rights.
  • Sign Language Education and Development (SLED)
    • SLED's main objective is to facilitate the Deaf child's equal & democratic right to literacy & learning through the promotion of South African Sign Language. It provides nationally accreditated training to teachers of Deaf learners in South Africa.

    • UDEWO is a non government, non political and non profit making organization that works to promote the rights of deaf women and girls in Uganda.
  • World Association of Sign Language Interpreters
    • This is the site for the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters. It is designed to meet needs for information and support, and to bring interpreters up to date news of what is happening in the international sign language interpreting profession.
