What
Normally, the WiderNet Project
needs people to help sort and test computers, erase hard drives, wrap
donations, and document each computer. No previous computer experience
necessary. We will teach people how to do the more technical work and
there will be plenty of other work cleaning up donations and moving
computer equipment.
When
Workdays are typically held monthly or bimonthly.
Where
Workdays are held either
at our office in 201 Communications Center or the International
Center on the University of Iowa Campus, in Iowa City. Signs will be posted in the
building and the doors
should be unlocked.
Instructions to the International
Center can be found here:
http://www.widernet.org/shipping/Donations/directions.htm. If you
need more detailed directions, please contact us at
volunteer@widernet.org
or call 335-2200.
Credit
Volunteer work at the WiderNet Project can be used with The 10,000
