Pricing for systems: How much is your donation worth?
This is hard to determine.  Your computer might be stacked with goodies or a Plain Jane kind of system.  According to IRS rules, however, we cannot decide the actual value of your system.  You supply us a value and we report that amount to the UI Foundation.  To help you come up with a value, here's a chart of average prices for popular components.

Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Pentium III Pentium 4
  $175 $350
15” monitor + 40  + 40
17” monitor + 75  + 75
Keyboard + 10  + 10
Mouse + 10  + 10
Zip drive + 25  + 25
2nd hard drive + 25 + 25

Estimating other stuff...

* Extra software is $20-$50 depending on what it is.

* Totals are usually between $250 and $550
