Training tomorrows analysts

The Computer Centre is an academic support centre with emphasis on staff and student development in computers.   It conducts a quarterly training programs on computer application to interested students and interns.

The Center in addition runs the following diploma and certificate courses of which the entire community of UNIJOS and it's environs benefit:

• Diploma in computer Science with a duration of two(2) years.
• Diploma in Computer Application, duration of one year.
• Certificate in Computer Application, duration of three(3)months.

Computer Center staff development is a priority.  We keep the Center staff updated by in-house and outside training. 

For three consecutive years a staff has been trained at Iowa in U.S.A, Trieste, Italy, and NUC, Abuja. 

A number of our staff have attended various seminars within the country.
