Assist our front office administration team in the areas of volunteer organization or database management/maintenance.

Public Relations Team

Assist in the publication of The WiderNet Project's efforts and achievements.

Typical volunteer opportunities on this team include:

  • Assisting with grass-roots publicity efforts of the eGranary Digital Library

We especially need those of you with great writing skills to make sure the potential funders and partners stay up to date with the various projects and programs that we offer here at WiderNet. We have a wealth of ideas and we need a writer that can capture each one's essence, succinctly and effectively.

eGranary Content Team

As a member of the eGranary Content Team you will be an integral part of organizing and expanding the eGranary Digital Library.

  • Curriculum development for Indian education: Connect to the internet to search for valuable educational resources to build the national curriculum of India. Ptopics include mathematics, literacy skill building, national publications, geography of India, and basically any other topic under the sun.

Additional volunteer opportunities

  • Global volunteers: Many of our volunteer opportunities can be done from anywhere in the world, as long as the volunteer has access to reliable internet connection. Global volunteers have been excellent resources when forming partnerships in developing countries.

Other ways you can help

  • Host established partners of WiderNet at your home
  • Procure donations of hardware, software, and books for partners in developing countries
  • Conduct training of partner administrators in network management, computer repair and/or database management and creation
