If you have some used computers, networking equipment or software to shake loose, please consider making a donation to The WiderNet Project.
We can use parts and pieces to upgrade computers as well as whole computers and equipment for networking and creating multimedia.
Of course, we don't need the latest and greatest gadgets - just good functioning equipment or software that will get the job done. And don't forget the user manuals and other documentation!
Our volunteers will test and package the equipment and arrange to have
it shipped to people and institutions who need it the most (most often
to participating universities in developing countries).
The recipients
are asked to pay for shipping - donations to help defray
shipping costs are welcome!
