Comments:

I would like this type of course/workshops/seminar to rotate within the Federal Universities in the country. This, I believe, will inspire chief executives who have not fully appreciated, and spur them to give more support to, ICT.
-Training should provide hands-on application for  participants.
-Enough notice to be given to institutions/organizations.
-Provide previous training materials for participants
This is a good training program. I suggest the inclusion of more practical decision making process for ICT in future training programs.
The training is alright. I will suggest that, in the future, training sessions should be in a computer lab so that practical could be synchronized with the theory.
We are grateful to WiderNet and other sponsors of this training for a job well done
Similar workshops need to be packaged for people below the level of decision making. This will enable decision makers interact more effectively with technicians in their institutions.
The training is timely and reasonable for the set of staff selected and I hope that in future the practical aspect will be emphasized. This will provide continuity and better understanding of the staff in the Commission. It is also important that consideration be given to the course participants.
It has been a wonderful opportunity participating in this course. Initially it seemed hard  understanding or grasping the purpose workshop. But I am now more determined to learn more about the computer and its rudiments especially as they relate to ICT. The instructor was wonderful and full of zeal.
This workshop is for decision makers and has been very satisfactorily conducted. Similar workshops for other categories of staff could be organized to acquaint such staff with current tools to do their work more efficiently.
Governing councils of institutions should be encouraged to be represented at workshops such as this one. The NUC should always have representation from the executive secretary's office. This is to enhance decision making. Otherwise, the workshop is perfect.
This is my first training workshop and I found it very rewarding. I now know that it is possible, with careful planning and prioritizing, to achieve some things I thought would be most difficult. Nigerian universities need these training workshops not only for the purpose of  belonging  to the global village but also to offer better services.
I appreciate the constrain of the presenter or the resource person in handling highly sensitive issues in the course of the lecture
I appreciate the training very much. I'm looking forward to further training of the same kind outside the country.
A very interesting and revealing course. I found it very useful.
Overall a laudable effort.
This type of workshop should be attended by more vice-chancellors, registrars and council members because they are ones at the top of the decision making hierarchy.
This was a very interesting exercise. Please keep up the pace.

What other seminar topics would you like to see us offer?

Gradual in-depth training should be organized; this will enable the decision makers really appreciate ICT, and then will be interested to budget more for it
AutoCAD training for professionals like Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors.
One week hands-on training on the use of internet.
Training on information system management.
I would request that in future there should be more than one presenter to break the monotony of listening to one presenter over a long period of time.
The workshop was quite informative. It gives options on a wide range of alternatives from which an institution could adopt. The instruction received were well connected to the topics and will assist greatly in choosing an option.
Installation of networks and maintenance, self development of software, How's, Do's and limitations of the internet networking and advantages and disadvantages.
Details of access to database etc. Details of building local area network  Details of acquisition of Bandwidth and satellite communications.
Networking and academic libraries in Nigeria, digitization of library materials, internet connectivity in Universities.
Training-Trainers for ICT (General), Database management, Software-Training for selection.
The practical aspects of "content development" should be organized for this set of participants, so as to drive home all they have learned.
A training that would break down the computer and its rudiments not minding the status of decision makers.
Fund generation, retraining and technician training.
Emphasis on appreciating the need to offer regular training opportunities for the staff. Training local staff to adopt modern technologies to meet local peculiar situations they find themselves.
Participants to have practical sessions on how to draw up ICT visions, goals the actions plans.
Digitizing materials for the web. Any other training that will improve my work as a public relations officer of the university.
Just as this was for decision makers, a similar programme for non-decision makers will be a good one.
How to store and manage data on staff and students on our campuses.
Computer maintenance and networking. Application software package development preferably on SQL.
Vision, Mission of the university system in the developing world.
Any training in the area of computing and MIS, also in the area of planning for effective decision taken.
Professional web-page design, Object oriented programming, database design
Practical hands-on training on IT use for other professions (e.g. oil and gas) industry, medical, business etc. Practical technical training for students in IT programmes, particularly for my university FUT, Yola
Developing programmes for basic needs. Training the trainer.
I would like you to offer a more specific training to training and development officers to help them in their duties to be better and more innovative
