room in Nigeria to make sure the wireless equipment donated
by the 3Com® Corporation survived
the plane ride and to create demonstration training
exercises over wireless network devices. Meanwhile,
one hotel room down, Cliff creates a slide show for the
theory based wireless training. |

The students got
a chance to try their hands on setting up some wireless
equipment. Students also roamed around the building
and campus with a laptop to test the speed and distance of
the wireless network connection.

| The Winner... |
| At the end of the day the WiderNet Project
held a drawing for a 3Com® wireless access point, two desktop
wireless cards, and two laptop wireless cards. The
university of Ibadan was the winner of the drawing.
